Join our expert naturalist guides on a Palm Springs jeep adventure to visit some of the area's most scenic backcountry wonders.  We use new top of the line Wrangler Rubicon Jeeps and the area's most experienced guides. Visit the high desert on a Joshua Tree National Park jeep tour via a rugged backcountry trail through the San Andreas or head straight to the incredible canyons twisted and distorted by the mighty Fault.  Our tours include hotel pickup and dropoff, expert guide, water, snacks, and any entry fees. All jeep tours include some light hiking that can be tailored to clients' requests.  Our Palm Springs jeep tours run daily with morning and afternoon departure times.

Joshua Tree National Park Jeep Adventure - This jeep tour takes you to one of the nation's most outstanding wilderness treasures, Joshua Tree National Park.  We use a rugged backcountry trail through the Little San Bernadino Mountains to take you from the Colorado Desert to over 4000 feet elevation in the Mojave Desert.  Clients will be treated to magnifecent unspoiled desert vistas, spectacular rock formations, unique plant and animal life, and outstanding geology.

Joshua Tree SUV Tour - For your comfort Big Wheel now offers enclosed SUV tours into Joshua Tree National Park with our expert naturalist guides.  We offer hotel pickup and dropoff and head out to the National Park via paved roads.  Along the way clients will get an outstanding naturalist presentation before heading into the park.  Clients will have the option of doing a loop of the backcountry 4WD Geology Tour road, visiting Barker Dam, Keys View, or the Hidden Valley Loop nature walk.  Prices and departure times are the same as above.

San Andreas Fault Jeep Tour - Come see where earthquakes are born!  You will see first hand what geologists have called " the most tortured landscape on earth" as you visit the backcountry trails of a Burea of Land Management Wilderness zone.  Clients will also get an up close look at the Coachella Valley's $500 million agriculture industry on the drive to and from the backcountry.  Sheer canyon walls, fascinating geology, and abundant native desert plant and animal life are highlights of this tour.
